Wednesday, April 15, 2020

WASHINGTON, DC – The only organization focused exclusively on electing solidly conservative women, Right Women PAC, announced its endorsement of Kathy Landing in the race for South Carolina’s First Congressional District today.

Right Women only endorses women candidates who demonstrate they are pro-Constitution, pro-Second Amendment, pro-law enforcement, pro-life, supportive of President Trump’s Make America Great Again agenda, and advocates for border security, religious freedom, Israel, and veterans.

In the endorsement, Right Women PAC highlighted Landing’s business experience and conservative values.

“Kathy is a staunch conservative and believes firmly in Right Women’s core principles,” said Debbie Meadows, Executive Director of Right Women PAC. “She is one of the hardest-working women I know. Kathy’s decades-long professional experience as a financial planner and her service over the past three years as city councilwoman have earned her the trust of her clients and community. Her business experience is precisely what our nation needs as we tackle the economic recovery.”

In addition to the leadership of Meadows, wife of President Trump’s Chief of Staff and former Freedom Caucus Chair Mark Meadows – Right Women’s Advisory Board includes Polly Jordan, wife of Freedom Caucus Founding Chair Jim Jordan, and Elaine Norman, wife of South Carolina Congressman Ralph Norman.

Landing praised the mission of Right Women in accepting the endorsement.

“I am humbled and honored to receive the endorsement of Right Women PAC and greatly appreciate their commitment to supporting strong, fearless conservative women who will defend the Constitution and advance liberty,” said Landing. “There is no doubt that we need more principled, conservative women in Congress, and I look forward to the opportunity to represent our Lowcountry values and serve our district proudly.”

The national endorsement of Right Women PAC follows the endorsements of Landing from over a dozen Republican women leaders in South Carolina’s Lowcountry.
